We are avid Indian food fanatics that have eaten our way around Australia. This is simply the very best Indian food in WA without a doubt. The nan bread is made fresh to order, the rice if light and fluffy. The curries never disappoint and are obviously made by a true Indian Chef. We live in Pinjarra and are happy to travel just to eat here. View all feedback.
What Chandrika K doesn't like about Royal Taj:
Meal was good so asked for the left over vegetarian and meat dish to be packed for takeaway and rice, but obviously the waitress thought its should all be thrown in together assuming that was our request and to throw in a few grains of rice and kee the rest as it would fit in the first container. She then picked out a few bits from the vegetarian curry and literally threw into another container. When queried got a 'o... View all feedback.
This is the best restaurant I've ever been to. I loved the food, the take-away options, and the friendly service. I am very happy and would highly recommend it.
This cozy Indian restaurant is tucked away in the North Woodvale shopping center. The food is always delicious, especially the goat and lamb dishes. We have visited several times and always receive great service. Highly recommended.
Eating at this restaurant felt just like dining at home, as we were made to feel like part of the family. Sakrina was very personable, offering recommendations on flavors, combinations, and portion sizes. It was almost like dining with a friend. The portions have gotten larger since our last visit (which was quite a while ago, but we definitely plan on coming back more often now). The food quality was superb and the service was well-timed. Overall, it was a very pleasant evening. Thank you, Royal Taj, for a job well done.
I have had the opporunity of dining a few times at the Royal Taj and have also availed myself of their take-aways in the last 6 months. I honestly have to say that it's the best Indian food I've eaten for quite sometime. Their meals are full of flavour and definitely freshly cooked. I have sampled a few dishes, e.g. Madras Beef, Butter Chicken, Paneer and Spinach and Masala Chic Peas, Chicken Jalfrezi, Naans and Coconut rice. All the dishes were excellent and the prices of the dishes were reasonable. The waiters were very courteous and polite and took our orders expeditiously. The food was served in a timely manner. I would have no hesitation recommending this small Indian restaurant in the Woodvale Shopping Centre to all my friends. Will definitely go back.
We orders 3 x butter chicken and once home and opened, there was barely any chicken between the 3 dishes. Very disappointing. Not value for money.
