De Allende: Mexican Kitchen Tequila

We drive by plenty of other Mexican restaurants on the way to Agave Azul. This restaurant has matured over the years and is our favorite. The food just has more flavor. It is also consistent. I know my steak will be delicious every time. Bar selection is first rate. The management is always pleasant and welcoming. Wait staff is personable and professional. The owner updates the interior look occasionally to stay interesting. They also have musical entertainment from time to time.

Enjoyed the tequila bar. the food was good, nothing special, though.

Excellent service, tasty food and super convenient after shopping!

We visited this restaurant specifically for the entertainment tonight and arrived early to secure a good seat. However, we were asked to wait on the patio while they set up. As we waited, the entire show room filled up, and we were informed that there was no longer any space available to see the performance. While waiting, I ordered a margarita, which turned out to be excessively sweet—almost like three drinks in one. Overall, it was a disappointing experience; we didn’t get to see the show and will not be coming back.

I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but they've made a lot of unnecessary changes to their dishes. I’m extremely disappointed with the decline in quality.
