The Reserve - Woodlawn

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time today and all I can say is the food was so delicious. It exceeded our expectations. Being from the south, it is hard to find food that reminds me of home but today we tasted a little bit of home. This bought so much joy to my heart. The owner and chef were awesome. Trust me you have not tasted food like this. The smothered turkey wings and barbecue chicken are our recommendations.

The Reserve Restaurant is a great vibe. The owner is very friendly and interactive. I enjoyed every plate we ordered. Try them out. Oh and shout out to MR Kevin for the karaoke ? on every last Sunday!

Y’all this food is soooooo damnnnn good! Omg the new honey cornbread was to die for! I’ve never had anything like it. The Mac and cheese was Thanksgiving perfect. I had to tell the owner we’re cousins now! That’s how often I plan on coming here. They just added the seafood salad back and it’s perfect. The flounder was crispy and PERFECT! ? omg let me stop here. I know y’all get the idea.

This was my very first time at The Reserve. I really wanted to support a black owned business today and I made the best decision. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted. I decided to dine in. The atmosphere is nice. So I ordered the fried catfish with potato salad and cabbage. My goodness, everything came out great. The fish and cabbage was hot, the potato salad tasted just like my mom’s. But let me tell you about that cornbread. You better come get you some. The chef has a butter and cinnamon drizzle on it, amazingParking: They are in a shopping center so there is ample parking.
