The bartender was funny and attentive, even though our group was all over 30. They are still getting their own menu style finalized and don’t really have a specialty; it varies from fish to spaghetti. Prices are a bit on the high side for the quality and quantity, which will make it hard for them to compete with Tazzina Bistro and Morrison’s (high quality, high prices). If they do establish a prix-fix weekly special it will help encourage people to try them out. The building renovation didn’t add any real character to the interior, but it is fun to people watch through the big front windows. They are going to lease out lofts in the two floors above the restaurant, which will help give the area a semi-metropolitan lifestyle. They should capitalize on that (no pun intended). Off street parking is only 1/2 block away and the lot is free any time, with a 2 hour limit until 5pm (beware, parking limits are really enforced in this town).
