On a positive note, my appetizer, the octopus, was excellent; both its presentation and flavor were outstanding. The salad was decent but the acidity was off; the vinegar could have been aged or sweeter to my taste. After having a heavy curry and a late lunch, we both opted for duck for our main course. My wife thoroughly enjoyed hers, and I thought it was good as well. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sage Bistro Moderne:
Early dinner on Sunday. We enjoyed grilled Calamari appetizer, but the raw shells were not fresh. We enjoyed the shrimp and Scallop Friicassee, but the lobster was not traditional, swimming in Aoili sauce was not a good game. Cocktails were good. No dessert. View all feedback.
Beautifully decorated bistro with a French flair. Chicken and salmon were very good. The apple tart with hazelnut ice cream was outstanding!
A very busy place on Saturday evening. Our reservation was honored and our table was waiting for us. They have an extensive menu with a large variety of large portion meals. We brought leftovers home. And we had no room for dessert after appetizers were shared before the main plates. The pork chop was large! A little light on vegetarian dishes. We recommend you give it a try.

Wonderful Experience! We ordered French Onion Pork Chops, Entrecote Cafe De Paris, grilled octopus, Camembert Fondue, and eggplant meatballs. The food was delicious, with generous and satisfying portions. The staff was well-trained and treated us exceptionally well, making us feel very welcome. The decor and ambiance were also quite pleasing. I really appreciate the effort the staff put into ensuring every member of our group was happy. We will definitely be back!
During my visit to the restaurant, I encountered a massive live bug in my food, and both the waiter and the owner showed no concern. I was part of a group of eight, and everyone was left feeling queasy. One friend even became physically ill, and it ruined the experience for all of us. When the bill came, it was full price, and the owner only removed the charge for my meal after we brought it up. Shockingly, the owner didn't apologize and even mocked our situation. It’s hard to believe how unsanitary the kitchen must be if they think it's acceptable to serve food like that. This experience was absolutely disgraceful.
