Riverside Woodbridge, has one of the nicest views. The whole place is very picturesque and the jetty is especially charming. The food was nice, but, the drinks were even better; meaning, a chai latte. However, since it was a cold day, it would've been nice if the heaters were on. Other than that, the experience was lovely. I would definitely recommend it. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Riverside Woodbridge:
Location couldn't be any better on the banks of the Upper swan overlooking not only the river but vineyards on the opposite bank Café style menu, reliable choices but nothing imaginative. Food fresh & reasonable without being outstanding. Service was pleasant View all feedback.
Arrived to find the place busy with no booking...agree this was not a good idea but this does not account for the rudeness of the staff to other patrons and us. Does not engender a return visit to sample the food.
I wanted to email the Café directly. In any case, yesterday we booked a table of 10 for a 60th birthday lunch. The waitress at our table was SO rude, interrupted us and was slamming the food and drinks down. Not only that, but I ordered a pepsi max that was 14months out of date- says a lot about their stocktake checks. Also, the strawberry and pear salad that I wanted was not available and neither was my second food option. I was not the only unhappy patron. It is a pity as the view is sensational. With so many wonderful places to eat, you realy need to lift your game!
Our friends recommended us to this spot - and decided to have a late breakfast Sunday morning. Nice sunny morning although a bit fresh. The seating is under their alfresco overlooking the Swan River - great location - but pick your times - if wet cold and raining could be a challenge. They do have patio heaters and cafe blinds can come down if needed. We were lucky enough to walk-in without booking - on a nice warm day I would imagine the venue to be quite busy - so booking may be warranted. The breakfast was nice, tasty, all fresh produce and relatively large serves. Worth a try - especially if it's nice day weather wise.
