Osteria Gente - Woodbridge

The food was absolutely wonderful. We started with the seafood salad and the fried seafood, both of which were delicious. For our main courses, we had the orecchiette and the branzino, and they were fantastic. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Truly authentic Italian cuisine. The food was delicious! The only non-Italian presence there was me, haha. The staff was friendly, and the decor was quite stylish as well. They have at least two private dining rooms for events, one featuring a large round table.

I've probably driven past this restaurant thousands of times. During the summer, the patio was always bustling with people, which is a good sign for food quality. I was thoroughly impressed with the food; I started with a fried fish platter, we shared the spidini, and I had an arugula salad with chicken and pear. The tiramisu was possibly the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The service was exceptional, and everything was fantastic. I highly recommend this little hidden gem in Woodbridge!

I was excited for our dining experience, given the restaurant's high ratings. Unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. Throughout the evening, the servers mostly overlooked us. The first glass of wine we received was not good, and the bread was old and stale. While we ordered several dishes, I have to acknowledge that the pizza was quite good. However, the special truffle pasta was very disappointing—it was bland and served in a watery sauce.

I must have driven past this place countless times! The food is incredible! I tried the Tagliere di Salumi, Frittura, Penne Vodka, Risotto, and the Margherita pizza. The calamari was cooked to perfection and didn’t have that rubbery texture! The pizza was outstanding; the dough was light and soft, unlike the cardboard you might find at other places. Be sure to visit—you won’t be disappointed!
