A little heavy for the price range especially how the service tax is higher than most of the restaurants that I've been. The place and the atmosphere is alright, not really jumping out of my seat. Staff is very accomodating and has the initiative of the needs of their customers. One thing that I particularly do not like is how they cooked their katsudon. It was definitely leaning on the rare side that I had to ask to... View all feedback.
Their sumo sam roll is remarkably delicious! Every mouthful of it is like a firework of flavors exploding in your mouth. At first, I found it kind of gross because of the intense seafood taste but as soon as everything was well incorporated inside my mouth, I started to love it. There's a balance of saltiness with a distinct seafood taste, the creaminess of the mayonnaise, the subtle sweetness of rice and then the refreshing raw veggie (i think it's celery stalk, idk exactly what it was . Aside from putting the entire thing in my mouth, the only issue I have with it is how to keep myself from craving it coz I wouldn't be able to afford it all the time!
I love their foodddd!! It's one of the best Japanese restaurants in Cebu (my opinion). I love the food and the staff is friendly. The ambiance of the place is calm and nice too.
Sumo sam was a nice dining experience. The food was good, the staff was friendly and willing to go the extra mile. I asked if they could provide a little extra curry with my dish, and they happily did so. I am certainly returning to eat there again.
Friendly service. And tasty food at very reasonable price. The servings are good for sharing. The athmosphere is quit hot that's why I gave only 4 stars.. but overall not bad.
I like the food served in this resto. Although kind of pricey but it was okay. We ordered one of their set which me and my brother was not able to finish so we had to call for back up. It was delish.
