Feedback
Disappointing We were initially welcomed politely, but unfortunately, the experience took a disappointing turn. While waiting for our food—which took longer than the time they initially mentioned—we were unexpectedly given the bill, even though not all of our orders had arrived. Mind you, they gave us the wrong bill, and even the second time it was still incorrect. Then, while we were still eating, we were asked to settle the payment. Not long after, the staff began shutting down the lights around us, clearly indicating that they were closing. We completely understand that the staff may have been eager to go home after a long day. However, if it was already too late for them to cater to us properly, they could have kindly let us know beforehand. Instead, we were left feeling rushed. It’s disappointing to be put in a position where you're made to feel like an inconvenience, especially after already waiting beyond the expected time. We hope this feedback helps improve service for future customers. Service: 1 Meal type: Dinner
Came here many times before. The quesadilla was my favorite. But now they changed it. For one they increased the price from 250 to 265. This would be okay, because I understand inflation, however, they also made it worse. It has less beef and less cheese. And it's no longer served with extra queso and hot sauce. So they increased the price and lowered the serving size. What happened? Won't come back. It's a shame because it use to be really good.
Have eaten at Mooon 3 times in the last few weeks. Each time, the food is very good and reasonable amount of it for the price. Service was fine and the staff is very friendly and very accommodating. The atmosphere was nice and calm and enjoyable. I will return here again. I dined alone at Mooon Cafe some time ago, but I can't remember the exact date. The ordering process was easy, but my meal took longer to arrive than I expected. Unfortunately, no one came to check on me during my visit. Fortunately, the view of the lush garden helped take my mind off my frustrations. However, when it was time to settle the bill, it took almost 20 minutes after my second request to receive it—I almost considered leaving without paying. Overall, my experience fell short in areas such as design, ambiance, cleanliness, value for money, service, delivery, variety, and food quality. I hope this feedback is helpful. Regardless, I haven't had the chance to return, and I doubt I will.
Mooon Cafe is truly special to me, as it was one of my favorite places to meet up with my college friends from USC. We love everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere is delightful and clean, especially before the pandemic. I’ve noticed that this chain only has locations in Cebu and one in Ozamis City; I really hope they branch out to Metro Manila soon. The prices are reasonable, making it an excellent option for casual dining. P.S. The photo was taken back in 2011.
