Waited a while at the till for someone to actually talk to us to seat us for food. Ordered our food and it took 45 minutes from ordering to actually come out to us in different stages. So say around 55 minutes for everyone to get their food. Out of all of our meals the turkey roast lunch was probably the best meal amongst burgers others had and other food. Would I go again? From this experience I won’t be.
Love coming to the Spread, one of the best pubs around. I'm easily pleased regarding food generally but, even so, the Cowboy Burger and fries I had recently was beautiful. We have also started to come on Wednesday's for the quiz, always a good night. The quizmaster has an easy going nature and makes it enjoyable. We've even managed to win the quiz a few times, but this is more down to other family members who are far more clever(er? than me. Look forward to coming again.
Visited for the advertised Devoted to Rock entertainment night. They were absolutely fantastic, the pub was rammed! We had food before which came in very good time despite how busy it was and was cooked to perfection! We stayed all night and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We checked out their entertainment board which advertises everything coming up and there's some cracking stuff for adults and kids alike so this will be a go to over the Christmas period. Well done guys!!
The staff is warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, especially the gammon and rocky road sundae. The atmosphere is lovely. I would definitely recommend this place.
We came here for the quiz and had a great time. The quiz host was hilarious and kept us entertained throughout the night. It's rare to find a place where you can enjoy a fun evening for only £1 per person plus the cost of a drink. The fries were also really delicious.
