It is popular with local... read more Located near the city center but hidden away on a side street in a residential area, this pub with multiple rooms is a true hidden gem. It is popular with locals, especially on match days when Wolves are playing at the nearby Molineux Stadium. Despite this, it is very welcoming to all and offers a great selection of ales, mostly from the Marston's range, as well as the occasional guest ale. The kitchen serves fantastic and reasonably priced food, which comes highly recommended. Meals can also be taken away upon request. The pub provides a variety of entertainment, some of which requires tickets, but this information is clearly advertised online. Additionally, there is a surprise feature of a bowling green in the back, used by a local crown green bowls team.
