The staff were all very attentive without being overbearing. A special shoutout to Ben, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. We will definitely be returning.

We have been here for the last 5 years, prior to COVID. With a group of 50+ mild to moderate guys with learning difficultues...always a great value for money ev... read more We have been here for the last 5 years, prior to COVID. With a group of 50+ mild to moderate guys with learning difficultues...always a great value for money event with after dinner disco entertainment. We paid £26, £27 ...a gradual increase but hey? So this year they wanted £45? I managed to get a deal for 60 people to £35 per person. There was no Christmas fare available ie Turkey, Christmas Pudding, mince pies etc...was told it was because of Brexit and COVID. I was also told we would not be permitted to enter the venue without a COVID pass? And it had to be digital. Consequently can you imagine the time and effort it took to ensure all of these members had the appropriate passes. Hence upon arrival we: no one asked for any passes, ate food which was equivalent to a Sunday roast, had to ask for THE MINCE PIES, all drinks at the bar was via card, which our members do not have, plus the staff really didn't want to be there and were quite dismissive. This is to be our last Xmas meal with the said. It felt like we were an inconvenience.

Been... read more Booked on line and had to pay in full for 40 guests, unfortunately 6 were unable to attend. Attempted to amend booking and was told this was not possible. Been here many times in large groups, booking system is different(booking agent/ terms and conditions) Many emails back and forth still no refund given. Service and food were not up to the normal standard, will definitely not visit again, I felt there was a lack of personal service regarding my complaint and refund request, just a corporate generated response via email.

The restaurant overlooks the pitch which is great to see and the food was high quality. All the staff were very friendly and attentive and Id like to give a special mention to Hannah who was lovely to our 5 year old daughter and made sure she got the ice cream she wanted. We will be back.

We were able to decorate the room with... read more We booked a private room at this restaurant for my husband's 60th birthday, and visited today with a party of 18 people. We were able to decorate the room with balloons and banners. The service from the bar staff to the waiting staff was excellent, very attentive. The food was outstanding and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it - evidenced by all the empty plates. The Sunday lunch was great value and the quality of the food was top-notch. Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon and we all had a great time. Kudos to the staff, we will definitely be returning.
