Turkey bap was nice... read more We had a carvery bap and the roast potatoes were extremely dry ... Looked like they had been there for a very long time, dry and tasteless. Turkey bap was nice enough. Staff member did ask me if i wanted any fresh ones when enquiring how the food was but I'd nearly finished my bap at this stage.

The food was amazing for pub food, the atmosphere was perfect and the service was amazing, we got seated as soon as we got there however drinks and food took a while to get to our table. However, the drinks were incredible and not stingy with the alcohol in the pitchers at all!

Have noticed each time I come in there seems to always be the tall man with the glasses working like a nutcase (absolutely amazing service thank you!! whilst there’s other little bunches of staff standing around and talking, bit disheartening when there’s orders coming in and customers waiting. Very attentive, can't do enough for you. Mixed grill was lovely. Huge portion. Had to wait a while as there delivery was delayed but other than that, can't fault the place. Carvery is also brilliant. Good quality, fresh food and there Yorkshire pudding chocolate eclair is a must try. Décor, atmosphere, everything about the place is great. Very family friendly and a wonderful beer garden to the side and rear right by the canal. Small outdoor play area with plenty of outd
