I decided to give it a try and to my delight, it was the old chef from the Yew Tree. The food was excellent and I couldn't find any faults. While the chef may not be big on conversation, his food speaks for itself. I am thrilled to have discovered authentic Punjabi cuisine at its finest at Billas Bar. I highly recommend the keema curry, although all the dishes were top-notch. If you enjoy Indian pubs, I strongly suggest making a visit to Billas Bar.

However, when I returned yesterday, I found that the quality of the food had decreased and was now average at best. I am not sure if there has been a change in the chef, but I noticed that the menu has changed. The mixed grill now only had meat on the bone and no kebab. It seemed odd that the food area was empty, which may explain the decline in quality. On a positive note, the bar had a good selection of beer and a nice atmosphere.

There's a large screen for sporting events, which is a nice touch. The only downside is that there’s limited parking at the bottom, but you'll usually find a spot nearby. Overall, I’d give it a 9/10.
