Was User at Thyme a mag?
This restaurant is inside of Premier Inn, next to the hotel reception on the 2nd floor. It is only open for evening meals (from 6pm and breakfasts. My meal prawn starter; grilled salmon and ice cream was well cooked and tasty. (I did suggest to the chef that the main course would be better served on a flat platter rather than in a soup dish. The staff were attentive and helpful. Recommended ! View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Thyme:
Characterless and uninspiring. The restaurant in the Premier Inn is your basic motel type eaterie. The menu is basic but OK if you want a quick meal and back to your room for a sleep. Garlic breaded mushrooms are your frozen variety with a hard shell of breadcrumbs. Bizarrely these are served with BBQ (please! Barbecue) sauce as a dip. We ordered a rump and a sirloin. They were correctly cooked and tasty but looked i... View all feedback.

I’m not going to lie, I love a premier inn, they are spotlessly clean and so comfortable, but not d never eaten at one until tonight. I can get past the fact it’s all brought in prepared and pinged but for the love of God they need to season the food. Oh t wasn’t cooked well but I was hungry and not the worse crime but steak, tomato, chips, mushroom, rocket and not even a single grain of salt. No condiments on the table, no walking around allowed, no one asking if I need anything… Shame as the staff are actually very nice. I’d rather go back to school for a meal. Very disappointing and not worth the hefty bill which is making me feel resentful l. Never again :

This restaurant is on the second floor of the Premier Inn (reached by a lift) but is open to the general public. For those staying at the hotel, they (and all Thyme city centre restaurants) have a special deal, with a starter, main course and a drink and an eat as much as you like full English breakfast at the current price of £24.99. You can also add a desert for an extra £2.00. However, the menu is not very extensive and my desert of choice vanilla cheesecake was not available when I tried to order it. I arrived at 6pm (their opening time) and I was the only one there until nearly 7 when a few other diners arrived, so (I was looked after well by the two staff ! I chose the potted crab, which arrived in just a few minutes. For my main, I had the sea bass en papillote. Breakfast is a service yourself affair hot and cold; cereals; fruit; yoghurts, etc., Helpful and attentive staff for both meals.

The food here isn't fancy but it's consistently good and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant itself has more of a canteen feel to it so not somewhere for a romantic meal but if you are staying in the hotel like we are it's got everything you need. We've been staying for 3 weeks and although the menu is quite varied we have tried pretty much everything on it now. The battered prawns and baked Camembert are our recommendations for starters. The salmon steak and mixed grill are also good. The burgers are a little dry but the pizzas are tasty. It's really good value as you can get 2 courses and a glass of house wine or a beer for £15 per person.

This is a review of P Inn. I would rather not be able to see into the kitchen preparation area. It was an interesting concept but it did not work for me. Additionally, it was not comfortable for those with hearing aids. The hard floors, glass, and metal surfaces made the room very echoey, which was not conducive for having conversations.

Located on the 2nd floor of the Premier Inn in Woking Town Centre, this restaurant is open to everyone. I arrived at 6pm when the restaurant opened and initially, I was the only person there for about 30 minutes. However, it quickly filled up with families celebrating special occasions. Despite the sudden influx of customers, the staff quickly adapted to the demand. I was a bit disappointed that the starter marked as the "chef's choice" on the menu was unavailable, but the chef personally came out to apologize for the inconvenience. I ordered an alternative, which I found to be just as delicious. For my main course, I opted for the Dover sole from their summer menu, substituting chips for a salad. The portion was quite generous and I couldn't finish it all. Dessert was slightly delayed due to the restaurant being almost full, but it didn't hinder another enjoyable meal at this restaurant, which I highly recommend. The following morning, I had the standard Premier Inn breakfast, with the added bonus of a chef assisting at the hot buffet to ensure everyone got their desired freshly cooked items.
