**Restaurant Review: Shin's Bibimbap – A Tale of Ups and Downs**
Shin's Bibimbap has garnered mixed reviews recently, reflecting a journey of highs and lows. While many loyal customers celebrate its flavorful dishes and generous portions, recent changes—possibly due to new ownership—have led to concerns over declining quality, increased prices, and reduced portion sizes. Diners express frustration about inconsistent experiences, particularly with dishes like Chicken Katsu, which some found disappointing. Nevertheless, the restaurant remains a beloved spot for many, known for its speedy service and friendly staff. Overall, Shin's continues to capture the hearts of its fans amid a challenging transition.

Having worked in the culinary field for over 25 years and experienced a variety of cuisines from around the globe, I can confidently say that this restaurant has become one of my favorites. The food is consistently freshly prepared, and the portion sizes are generous. The gentleman in charge (CK) is genuinely passionate about his work, which is evident in the high quality of the dishes and the friendliness of the staff. I assure you, you will not be disappointed during your visit. Thank you once again for the delightful meal!
Really good food. love the mix-match options (katsu sweet chili chicken rice is my fave) also on deliveroo they keep the engraving separated so it does not get all thick and gloopy. occasionally the chicken was a bit chewing, so not fresh and so given 4 stars instead of 5. best in woking for sure tho.
Oh, God! this place must be one that serves as the top 10 liste class katsu curry and it is not the only good thing that you can have a dish of rice/noodles/biryan rice with spicy cheeks or hawn teriyaki or chickenbulgogi or sweet and sour chew and some more. the portion size is beautiful, and a large bowl can fill an adult enough. the only part I feel is the use of plastic cutlery and shells that, based on the amount that gets this place, is not good to see. but eating is very good.
I love this place. I go here usually and the staff recognise me and are very nice. The dumplings are very nice with lots of flavour and the spring rolls are ok. The Katsu Curry is cooked to perfection with the sauce blending in with the flavours of the chicken. Definitely would recommend going here. W.
