What User doesn't like about Knaphill Fish:
Called in for takeaway fish and chips at £14 for 2 standard cod and chips, one was overcooked and dry with soggy batter and the other cod was a dark grey colour looked most unappetising and again overcooked. Absolutely fantastic eating, generous portions and some of the best fish and chips I've ever had! the first time that comes today and certainly will not be the last, even the staff are incredibly friendly and really nice to chat while eating is freshly cooked.
The fish is freshly boiled and does not drip in oil. good portions and fast service. good place!
With distance the best fish chips in surrey, great quality and portion size and alan and his wife always happy to see them 5 star.
We have always said that horsell fish and chips were the best in the woking area: no longer! after our first visit here today, knaphill fish bar is now number one in our eyes. beautiful fish in a beautiful, crisp teig with clobpy, not soggy chips. massive portions, a small cod and chips light enough for both of us. highly recommended. they are only cash, but many cash machines close, so no problem.
Very good fish and chips, by far the best in the area. Everything freshly prepared and cooked and always a warm welcome.
