this is a really great place to taste authentic food from the south indiens. I had sea bass with marinated garnel and his best plate I've ever eaten. are also very good! the appams were the best I cost. service was excellent and no request was too much for the team at kayal. I am definitiw back and cannot recommend it enough. View all feedback.

This restaurant is not recommended if you want to have a peaceful night. It is definitely not your typical English curry place. The stale poppadoms were disappointing and I don't think I will come back. I will stick to Hawelli, which is great and located across the street. I wouldn't be surprised if the food preparation here is subpar. There seems to be a lot of mess and uncleanliness in the kitchen. The bartender also needs to be more relaxed. The way he looked at me made me feel uncomfortable, as if I was going to steal something instead of just getting a takeaway.

A delightful feast! The spicy potatoes were delicious and there were lots of tasty vegan options for us on the menu. We ordered a range of dishes and they were all very tasty. The service was excellent and we had a fantastic time. Stopped for Sunday lunch on the way back from Virginia Water with the family. Lovely table with the sun and fantastic food (as usual). Definitely recommend the dosa as well as the beans thoran. Will be back! Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
