I repeated my order, and again she mentioned charging extra for the cups. So I decided to skip the cups and just asked for the ice cream in cones. When she reprocessed my order, I realized why there was a price difference. The single scoop on the cone was much smaller than the scoop that would fit in a cup, and it barely sat on top of the cone instead of being packed in like at other ice cream places. As I was paying, bits of ice cream from both cones were falling to the floor—not due to messy eating, but because the ice cream was so loosely placed on the cones that they could topple over at any moment. I wasn't trying to take advantage of the system for more ice cream; I just wanted a small, sweet treat to end the day. However, I left feeling somewhat cheated.
I visited The Friendlies in Delta Terminal A and ordered a lobster roll with fries and a bottle of water for $29. Unfortunately, the lobster was quite unappetizing—I'm fairly certain it was frozen. The mayonnaise was gritty, and the roll wasn't toasted, making it unpleasant. On the positive side, the fries were tasty. Overall, they really should reconsider selling lobster rolls, especially in Boston, if they can't offer fresh lobster. In the end, I felt I essentially paid $29 for a bottle of water and a small serving of fries and ended up tossing the rest of my meal.
Tasteless patty melt and out of other items on the menu. Staff could use some friendly training as well. The burger was good for airport fare.
Made me wait in line for 20 minutes only to tell me that they were all out of their breakfast items at 7am. The sandwich I did order was soggy and much more expensive than the breakfast item I would have ordered. The worst part is it?s probably the onlything available to you when you get to this terminal as the Dunkin? has a massive line
If I could leave negative stars I would. I work for an airline and had a long layover and wanted lunch. Stood at the register for 7 minutes while the cashier; wearing a Pink Victoria?s Secret tshirt no uniform; sat and ate behind the counter. She finallycame over after 3 people had built up behind me and I asked for a Philly cheesesteak. She said ?we don?t have that.? I askedwhat they did have. She responded with ?it depends on what you want? hands down the worst experience I?ve ever had and it mademe embarrassed for Friendly?s. I left and got sbarro next door and was treated like a human. Do not recommend.
