S... read more My wife and I decided to visit Gonjoo for the first time for our wedding anniversary, best decision we made! We arrived at the restaurant, first appearances.. Spotlessly clean! We had starters and mains. The starters alone were big enough to be a main meal! No idea how we were going to get through our mains.. The mains arrived.. WOW, what a generous serving. Both the starters and mains were absolutely amazing! I had the Mix meal, and my wife had a Turkish Pizza. Having had our meal, we were then greeted by the owner Adil Guncu. He brought and poured us a complimentary glass of champagne for our anniversary. Adil then proceeded to chat to us. It was wonderful to find about him, his family and background. A true and humble restaurant owner that takes absolute pride in the food he makes and the way in which the restaurant is run. If you're looking for exceptional Turkish food, then Gonjoo is the place to go!
