There were only a few items I... read more I find it quite rude when a business owner tells a paying customer that taking a bowl of herring from the salad bar is excessive. There were only a few items I could actually eat—just lettuce, cheese, and dressing. Moreover, about 50% of the customers don’t even eat herring. I ended up eating my portion as well as some from other customers' plates. Thank you.

While the craft beer selection may be a bit limited, there are plenty of options from Leinenkugel, a brewery from nearby Chippewa Falls. The food is tasty and the prices are quite reasonable. The atmosphere gave me a nostalgic feeling, reminiscent of the TV show Cheers, where everyone knows your name.
