The Battesford Court is a large historic hotel that has been turned into an excellent Wetherspoons. It's nice and cozy with exposed beams. There is an outside seating area at the back of the pub. There was a good selection of cask conditioned real ales, and a good choice of cider all in good condition when we called. The service was excellent and the food arrived quickly even though the pub was busy when we called. View all feedback.

Friends of mine have been going there every Tuesday night for years. I join them when I visit but never again. The meal was horrendous. A Classic Steak was pure fat and grizzle. Service very slow. Yuk! Never again. I feel sick! View all feedback.
