La Taqueria - Wisconsin Rapids

I stopped in for a bite while visiting my parents and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a California Burrito, which was better than the one I had in Houston! The fries were very crispy and the meat was well seasoned. I'd look forward to eating here again if I could convince my dad to try Mexican food.

Probably the most authentic street tacos you?ll get in central Wisconsin. I spent most if my life in AZ and missed mexican food like crazy. Most of the alternatives out this way are pretty basic and bland. These guys get everything right! Their burritos are big enough for two meals, tacos are delicious, and I love their churros. I wish only the best to these guys as they are grade A service! If you are in the mood for some street tacos, this is absolutely the place to stop!

The prices are good. The food is more than adequate. The portions are ridiculously large. My wife ordered the chorizo taco and I ordered the burrito and as you can see by the picture it's ridiculously large. We also had the margaritas which were delicious. I wouldn't say they were strong but they definitely were not weak.

The fish tacos were the best I've had in YEARS, possibly the best I've had in the US!! The margaritas (had both strawberry mango), chips queso, street corn churros were also delicious! Was only in town for 4 days ate here 3 times in 4 days!! Wish I lived closer could visit weekly. IF I'm ever back, this will be one of the 1st places I go!!

I ate at La Taqueria for the first time yesterday. I had the pork burrito in a bowl and Street corn and it was excellent! The food was delicious the place was very cozy and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean and had a great atmosphere. In the short time that my friend and I were there someone was always cleaning the tables or sweeping the floor. I can't believe we didn't discover this Gem of a place before now.
