The onion curry I ordered was overly luminous and had a few prawns, mushrooms, and chicken thrown in, along with a significant amount of grease floating on top. The cucumber raita was simply curdled natural yogurt with a slice of cucumber on top. The samosas were small and cheap. One dish was even missing from my order, which may have been a lucky break. I spent over £60 and was left unsatisfied. I wish I lived in Manchester, where Dishoom serves delicious curry dishes.

A lovely welcome, acknowledged by staff immediately with requests for drinks (bring your own alcohol) and an offer of poppadoms and chutneys. Ordered four different mains from extensive menu, which I know would have arrived much earlier had I not ordered the trout, which arrived very hot, thoroughly cooked and extremely tasty, and a sincere apology for delay. This was of no importance as it gave us longer to catch up . Thought the menu prices were so reasonable with payment by cash , which didn't present a problem at all. To sum up, a lovely meal with friends, in such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others.

The puri was hard and tasteless, the chicken chatt lacked flavor, and the sagg paneer was a strange brown color as if it had been reheated multiple times. I would not choose to eat here again. Additionally, it took over an hour and a half to receive the food.
