The Devon Doorway offers a pleasant dining experience with commendable service and a welcoming atmosphere. Guests have praised the attentive staff, particularly noting their friendly demeanor and helpful recommendations. While the food quality generally meets expectations, some diners have pointed out issues with timing and portion sizes, and certain dishes falling short of expectations. Despite these hiccups, highlights include delectable dishes such as the vegetable coconut curry and beautifully cooked meats. The restaurant's décor and lively ambiance enhance the experience, making it a worthwhile visit for families and friends seeking a memorable meal. Reservations may be advisable due to its popularity.

We had an amazing starter of chicken liver parfait, which we shared but regretted not getting one each because it was so delicious. The belly pork was difficult to cut and quite chewy, although tasty. It wasn't as melt-in-your-mouth as we had hoped, but the scallops that came with it were heavenly. The waiter kindly removed a round of drinks, costing nearly £12, to make up for our disappointment. Despite our mixed experience, we would recommend this restaurant and would be willing to give it another try if we are in the area again.

We had not been to the Devon Doorway in a while, as our previous experiences had been disappointing. However, after receiving a birthday offer email, we decided to give it another chance. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious meal we had during our recent visit.

Last night at the devon doorway. we have taken care of at any time by charlotte, abbi and their top team of friendly staff. nothing was too much annoying, refreshing beer and hearty well cooked meals were the order of the day. I am very happy to come back very soon, always a pleasure! thank you.
