The belly pork was difficult... read more We had an amazing starter of chicken liver parfait, which we shared but regretted not getting one each because it was so delicious. The belly pork was difficult to cut and quite chewy, although tasty. It wasn't as melt-in-your-mouth as we had hoped, but the scallops that came with it were heavenly. The waiter kindly removed a round of drinks, costing nearly £12, to make up for our disappointment. Despite our mixed experience, we would recommend this restaurant and would be willing to give it another try if we are in the area again.

However, after receiving a birthday offer email, we decided to give it another chance. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious meal we had during our recent visit.

Very busy, which meant service was very slow, 30 minutes to get our drinks and 45 minutes before the starters. my eating was nice, roast beef, enkel enjoyed his... read more Very busy, which meant service was very slow, 30 minutes to get our drinks and 45 minutes before the starters. my eating was nice, roast beef, enkel enjoyed his burger, but man said, huh was dry and blanching. last time everything was perfect, so think only a blip. we would recommend and return.
