has brought me back how to run restaurants. brilliant staff, and I mean the old school brilliant. delicious eating perfectly boiled (definitiw recommend the bark meat cheeks.) great atmosphere with pictures of the original owners, the family, to this day, lead the restaurant. heartily recommend this place a grown-up restaurant for people who only wish a beautiful evening with favorites and friends. This used to be our , favourite restaurant, however the menu which hasn’t changed in recent months , is so disappointing.we haven’t been for ages. We went with friends on our Christmas night out. their choice We were hoping for some exciting specials and some festive dishes , to boost the menu , but were offered spaghetti bolognaise or chicken with pepper sauce as the nights special dishes. Definitely the best restaurant in Hoylake, perhaps even the Wirral. Service was immaculate and the food was absolutely spot on. I'd go back again just for the chocolate cake! Top stuff.

Superb food, service, atmosphere . We each had three fabulous courses , great portions served by lovely attentive staff
Another lovey night with Great service from Ian and the lovley young lady .The food was exceptional as usual it just never dissapoints. Thanks also to the chef and his staff. You just cannot beat this place. I just wished I lived a bit closer I'd go a lot more .
