Got lamb with the Balti instead of Chicken and generally there seems to be less meat in the meals. That said the sauces were lovely but mixed feelings. Friendly delivery which is always good. View all feedback.
What Janet Lang doesn't like about Dhaka Takeaway:
I placed my order at 5:08 PM and requested it to be delivered as soon as possible. It arrived at 6:45 PM, and it would have been acceptable if it was hot. However, it was barely warm, the chicken pieces were tough, and the rice was lukewarm. It ended up being a waste of money as most of the order had to be thrown away. View all feedback.
Ordered online and waited 2 hours for delivery, when I rung the restaurant they fobbed me off saying someone had tried to deliver and that the foods been brought back! This was a total Lie as we have two dogs who bark at a closing of a car door in the next road and we have a ring door bell, they then said they where unprepared to cook new food and to get a refund from just eat!! Within minutes my review had been filtered on just eat and the order status had been changed to delivered! Avid at all costs!
Really like this place but the last few times we.ve ordered garlic naan there.s been no garlic in the naan! is there a shortage of garlic in prenton?
I've been searching for a takeaway that does a korma as tasty as our local used to do before it closed down. Thought I'd give Dhaka a try. Bought a chicken korma, pilau rice and peshwari nan. The korma was ok but wasn't the tastiest and certainly wasn't as creamy as it could be. The rice was fine but I was disappointed in the peshwari nan. It was too thick in parts, very soft and doughy and not as sugary as some I've had. On the plus side the food was hot, there was a lot of it and the prices were very reasonable. Unfortunately non of the pluses would make me want to go back again and it wasn't a patch on my previous takeaway.
It was on time, but the rice was cold and the curry itself was very bland. There was no depth or kick to it. We ordered a Rogan Josh and a Dopiaza, but they both tasted very similar.
We started coming to Dhaka after our favourite takeaway went down the pan. We travel from Heswall to pick it up and have never had a bad meal. It is now our favourite takeaway and have recommended it to family and friends. Fantastic tasty food keep up the good work guys .
