Update: Feb 26 Have just been here for my 50th and was massively disappointed!! Sticky Asian chicken portion was small with little rice, slow cooked ribs still needed cooking, and the T bone steak which was supposed to be medium well was absolutely cremated, like eating shoe leather. Also took the kids for the first time and they were massively disappointed too. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. Original post: Wonderful food. We have eaten here a few times now and every time the food has been fantastic. Proper Italian garlic bread and T bone steak are great, however it is their duck fries that keep us coming back each time. Well recommended.
Just got home from our first visit everything about this place was amazing Donna who looked after us all night was amazing made it an extra special night thank you Julie David
Visited as part of a birthday weekend away. I had found good reviews beforehand and decided to give it a go. It is quite an intimate setting with quirky decor which I loved. All the staff were attentive, helpful and very friendly! We both had the fillet steak and have never tasted a steak like it, it was cooked to perfection and what a flavour! The triple cooked chips were lovely too. There was a wait between courses and if you have no patience or want dinner in a flash then go to mcdonalds or some other cheap pub chain...this is all freshly cooked to order and more than worth the wait! We had Biscoff cheesecake for afters and that was absolutely delicious! I wouldn't hestitate to return, especially for a special occasion. It was a treat for us and I'm so glad I found this place and if we are in the area again we will definitely come for dinner! A
