Best soul food ever. We had fried chicken and it was perfect. Crunchy in the outside and tender on the inside and still warm. The rice and peas were sooo tasty. The collards were a perfect balance of flavor and spiciness. The yams were sweet, but not candy. The propriator was so attentive and kind. Waited an hour and 45 minutes for a to go order. The owner added a 20% gratuity which I didn 't realize until I checked my receipt the following day. While the three of us waited we each had a couple drinks. Captain Morgan $10, the Pepsi it was poured into, another $1. Great Food!! Great Atmosphere!! The owner is very hands on. He is a great personality with a loving welcoming vibe. Good place to bring the family as well. Great Vibes and Daily Specials!!! Redd the Bartender makes customs shots as well as very cool conversation and service.
