The chicken was crispy, and... read more I visited CD's for the first time today for what I lovingly refer to as a church plate—fried chicken, green beans, and potato salad. The chicken was crispy, and the green beans were seasoned perfectly. I appreciated how they thoughtfully arranged my to-go box with hot sauce and cutlery without me even asking, which is something that seems to be missing in many quick-service restaurants these days. The apple jack was definitely a delicious treat. I'm excited to try more items on their menu soon!

The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. I love this place, now all my employees love it too because I bring them breakfast as well.

I go in with a group of work friends at least once a week, and CD's has got something for all of us. Just want a burger or hots dogs? Check. Country food like hamburger steak-n-gravy, pork chops, chicken pastry, etc.? Check. Nice salad bar with about 20ish items? Check. Fantastic breakfast too. My personal favorite...a cheese biscuit with smoke sausage added. I call about 5 minutes before I get there, and they have it waiting for me. On a Saturday morning if I'm not as rushed for time, I'll take the family and my boys will get pancakes and one will get a grilled cheese sandwich. The wife and I will go for a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit (gooey and cheesy and a side of the potatoes or grits. My goodness! So Good! You'll thank me later. :
