I used to come here mainly for music and parties. These days, Kraftfeld feels inconsistent — sometimes it’s a normal night out (usually with way fewer people), other times it turns into an awareness-driven platform with ideological messaging. For example, I’ve literally been required at 2 a.m. to put on giant headphones and listen to a lecture about “respect,” “awareness,” etc. just to be allowed in. That’s not what I expect when I go out partying. Sometimes the venue is okay — but you can’t really tell in advance without reading long program texts and guessing what kind of night it will be. It would help a lot if the program clearly indicated when an event is mainly awareness/political versus just music and partying. On top of that, if you don’t fit their signaling, you don’t really feel welcome anymore. A party venue should feel open and relaxed — not like you’re being quietly judged. The old bar decoration and the outdoor area are still great — but honestly, that’s only because they haven’t been changed. I don’t mind diversity — but I do mind surprises, moralizing, and empty dance floors. I’d like to see clearer labeling and a broader, more straightforward nightlife focus again. Disappointing change overall. Update: Ok last time was quite like the old times except less people so overall pretty good.
