restaurant seems to be very popular, but is therefore also very full (and loud.) the appetizers were very good (tzatziki and the like), but the main dish (moussaka) was nothing special (simple, but not as fresh as you would wish or expect). here too, nothing bad, but for the paid price I wouldn't come back. I was here with 5 friends, and we all liked eating very much. the most important meal times are a good size and enough for my 5 male friends who are good eater (and a good size itself.) it was a bit busy and chaotic, so you had to be alert that all of their order got. but the staff has repaired it quickly. the speed was fast and soon after the sartern the main courses were served. the calamari was very good and also the saganaki was excellent. if we are ever back in winter mountain, this Greek restaurant is on our list to visit again. prices are good for what they get.
We had not booked, but a friendly welcome, shown to a clean fresh table and ordered beer. the waiter sat next to us as if we were old friends to explain the menu and have a little sharpener. so kind. our meals were great. best, thanks cook, great atmosphere, great staff. I went to the stairs to the toilet when I was guided on the same level on the disabled toilet when I walk with a bit of a limp, the waitress must have decided that it would have been easier for me, and so it was too, very good of her I thought and very appreciated. recommend this restaurant, happy locals.
We visited winter mountain for three days and had luck to dine in this restaurant on our first day and were impressed by the atmosphere, excellent eating and friendly staff and very cheap prices. I recommend this restaurant!
Tried the zaziki and taramas as starters and were happy, except for the bread, which was really poor. Just buy some better quality... Then we had calamari and gyros, homemade and good! Also the rice and salad was good, and the owners are friendly. We...got an Ouzo before and after! For the interior, yes it is early 80s when the place started, but renovation will happen in the coming weeks...
Restaurant seems to be very popular but is therefore also very full (and noisy). Appetizers were very good (tzatziki and the like) but the main course (Moussaka) was nothing special (basic but not as fresh as you would like or expect). Also the meat dishes...were a bit tasteless and dry. Again, nothing bad but for the price paid, would not go back.
