They have a beautiful i... read more If you’re looking for a relaxing, beautiful ambience with great food and service look no more the Hillstone Restaurant is definitely it. They have a beautiful indoor restaurant but an even more gorgeous view outside where you get to sit and enjoy theshade of the beautiful trees, take in the bushes filled with blooming flowers, feel the fresh breeze off the lake all whileenjoying the warm pink sunsets as you’re taking a bite of their delicious appetizers and entrees. They have a great locationand definitely used every part of it. Their service is always great and the food is consistently great.

Howev... read more I’ve been a regular at Houston’s, now Hillstone, for years across various locations. The service remains consistently excellent, which I truly appreciate. However, the price of their veggie burger has fluctuated quite a bit—starting at $16, then $18, and recently jumping to $21.99. While I enjoy the quality, it’s still a veggie burger, not a meat dish, and the price feels steep, especially compared to my mom’s delicious fish meal or the steak next to me. Hillstone offers reservations—just be sure to book early or visit during off-peak hours—and provides both free parking and valet options. Early Sunday visits are ideal for sitting outside, where it’s not as cold (I recommend bringing a sweater, as the indoor temperature can be chilly). The bathrooms appear well-maintained and clean. The restaurant is usually busy, especially on Friday and weekend nights when most guests dress up. If you’re concerned about Covid, ask for one of the four outdoor tables under the beautiful trees with a lake view for a safer dining experience. The menu offers a variety of options, but after the recent price hikes, we are reconsidering whether to continue ordering the veggie burger or try something new next time.

Having dined here several times before, we usually stick to our favorites, but this time we decided to try something different. I ordered the pan-fried snapper, and my husband chose the pork chop. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. In my opinion, Hillstone may be the best-run restaurant in Orlando. Every visit consistently offers excellent food and outstanding service.
