South Lake Howard Nature Park

Good clean fun.Only complaint is when they redid the playground they out the rock climbing wall in the way of the other playground equipment so when you're sitting at the picnic tables you can't see the entire playground. Too many blind spots.

Very nice park. Just looking for something to do in the area park wise and found this little gem. It was heading close to dusk so we really didn't get to enjoy it as much as we could have.

Winter Haven has really upgraded themselves in family, friends nature trails parks in the last couple of years. Enhancing a long history of beautiful lakes, chained together by canals, leading to each other. Relaxing, soothing outing with a zero cost really. Other then fueling your boat. And your bait for fishing. Of course the awesome restaurants, taverns and bait and tackle shops are available. The restaurants are very much in line with ambiance of nature, water and fishing. The best seafood in Central Florida. The very Best Oysters in the State. Historic .

I love the exercise equipment and walkways and scenery! Bathrooms on scene you even get to see an alligator if you’re lucky!

Love coming here. Small park but so much beauty to take in! Good fishing too.
