After dining here I am even more ashamed to admit I am a Winter Garden resident and have waited so long to dine here. We dined in the tasting room and it was exceptional. The tasting room allows you to try a variety of appetizers seasonal dishes andentrées. Our server Anthony was amazing. He was experienced professional and an absolute entertaining delight. We ate anembarrassing amount of food 8 dishes total. Every dish was amazing from the plating to the flavor profiles to the texture. Mymind and belly hasn’t been so satisfied for a long time. The craft cocktails are delicious and the food prices are exceptionalfor the quality. I can’t wait to go try the Original Chef‘s table side that provides a three-course meal with winepairings???? Update! So we made it to the Chef’s table dining side and it was amazing!!! I’m very intimate affair locatedright next to in the kitchen. Everything was just so satisfying. I was incredibly surprised by the watermelon salad that mightbe in my top five salads of all time!
My husband and children took me to Chef's Table for my birthday and it was the best decision ever. The meal a 3 course menu was delicious. We chose to pair our food with wine, which I highly recommend. The service was superb. It was a bit pricey butwell worth it.
The Chef’s Table at The Edgewater is a fantastic experience perfect for a date night or special occasion. We made a reservation a few days before we went via open table. We received confirmation texts and a text a few minutes before ourreservation time alerting us that our table was ready. We were greeted and escorted to our table without a wait. We walkedthrough the tasting room area, past a banquet room, and into The Chef’s Table. There is a smaller room with 3 tables and alarger room with 6 tables. We were seated at a table for 2 in the larger room. It was perfect. There is a glass double doorwhere you can see inside the kitchen. Our server greeted us promptly as we looked over the beverage and food menus. He wasknowledgeable and engaging. It’s a 3 course meal and you choose your appetizer, entree, and dessert from a few options in eachcategory. We decided to add on the wine pairing and are glad we didn’t order additional drinks because the wine was more thanenough for both of us. You can add on the cheese sampler which we did. It consisted of crostini and 5 different cheeses withaccompaniments. It included Gouda, Blue Cheese, Cheddar, candied pecans, dates, and honey. The honey and Gouda was a greatcombination and something I’d never think to try together. It was delicious and a great way to begin dinner. We opted to do awine with our cheese tasting and omit the wine that would have been paired with dessert. We both enjoyed all three of the winepairings. For our appetizers I had the Mediterranean Octopus. It was tender and the tzatziki sauce was delicious. My husbandchose the Mushroom and Chive Crepe Torte that he enjoyed as well. I had the fresh fish for my main course. It was pastramiseasoned cod and prepared perfectly. The flavors of the dish were great and I really liked the asparagus and turnips. Yum. Myhusband had the pork ribeye. It was perfect tender, rich, and flavorful. We chose the Lemon Thyme Creme Brûlée and theBananas Foster Bread
It’s our first visit to chefs table and everything was amazing, the food, the service and the ambience. I didn’t know the restaurant was inside a historical hotel building, and we were seated right next to the kitchen, that definitely made ourdinning experience more special. We both ordered house rubbed pork ribeye as main course and it tasted like heaven. It’stender and got the Smokey flavor. Dip it in the pear jam and rutabaga purée enhanced the flavor and it’s just an array offlavors dancing in your mouth. We will definitely come back and try other dishes on the menu.
My husband and I went for Brunch this past Sunday and it was amazing! It was our second time and we were looking forward to come back! I had a good Mocktail and he took the bottomless white Sangria from the brunch. Egg and Biscuit and Chicken Waffle !!And a must have “duck fat fries” ! We like their selection and the ambiance of the place. Great service too.
