What Dee Eichstedt dislikes about Padre's:
Very large portions and I'm thinking some of their food may be good based on the reviews, but don't get the enchiladas if you like traditional Mexican food. They're made with flour tortillas, meat and beans, some sort of (terrible) ranchera sauce. I always get enchiladas because I love corn tortillas, I wish I knew. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the food. The chicken tacos were bland and lacked toppings like lettuce, tomato, cheese shreds, and sour cream.

Love this place! Lacey is great and so is her servers. I have been coming here since they opened and will keep coming! Love the Gilson, which is next door, and it's a super cute little spot for authentic Tacos. Don't forget the creamy habenero sauce! It's everything!!
