Still love this place after all these years. Been going to this particular location since I was a kid. Hasn't changed much. Great service, great ice-cream, and a name that's been around for generations. You won't be disappointed at Dairy Queen. View all feedback.
I've always said that the place that makes most of the shops in Winchester, CT is the Dairy Queen. There are many good places to eat here, like Rowley's, The Tributary, Kent Pizza, Monaco's Ristorante, (all checked) and others, but the winner seems to be the DQ. Also on this April evening, forty degrees, as spring weather vacillates from warm to cold, the line was long to wait your turn on ice. Not a dessert person, I passed to get a hot fudge sun visor for my mother, and could not resist getting something for me... the cherry red dipped cone with the classic vanilla soft serve ice cream. Sublime experience to lead the cone back and forth with my partner. If you want nuts with the hot Fudge Sundae, you need to ask them. You can choose pecans or peanuts. There were many pecans. Nice.
My wife and I enjoyed a refreshing chocolate extreme blizzard and s'mores Shake. This is a dessert only space and parking is limited.
Greatest ice cream ever I love going there and I also love the butterscotch vanilla dip
I've been over for years and never have the time to stop for a contract. Today I could enjoy an ice cone immersed in chocolate. It was good, the correct amount of everything served quickly and with great customer service. My only disappointment came from this place only with ice cream treats, no Burger/Fries combination I found in other places.
We brought our entire girls softball team for an ice cream treat. The service was friendly, and fast. Their soft serve cones and bowls of ice cream with sprinkles really hit the spot. I'd reccomend them for your next ice cream fix. Enjoy!
