On our way back to Ohio, we decided to stop for a quick bite after reading a few reviews. The food and service were outstanding, even with several baseball teams in town. What Buddy Hairston doesn't like about Tracks:
The food was good, but we were charged more than what the menu indicated. We ordered two fried catfish po' boys, which were listed as $7.95 each on the menu they provided us at the table. However, when I went to pay at the register, I was told they actually cost $10.95. They claimed I was looking at an outdated menu, but that was the same one they had given us. I recommend The Tracks to anyone looking for great food. You can expect a unique culinary experience with great service. My daughter and I are regular guests and we love the staff.
Great service. Every waitress who walked by checked on us every time. Pretty busy due to a baseball tournament, but food came pretty fast and was great. Would definitely recommend and return myself.
We asked the desk clerk at our hotel for a good place to eat and she recommended The Tracks. We are so glad that she did! It is a delightful diner with great food and friendly staff. The catfish was as good as my brother in laws and that is saying a lot! The caramel cake was amazing! We met the local woman who actually bakes the cakes and had a wonderful visit with her and the brother of the owner. Wish we lived closer, so we could go back again...and again...and again!
The food and the southern hospitality were awesome. GREAT caramel cake. And best of all; it was reasonably priced. Hope to visiting again in the future. Loved driving thru the town also.
