Kfc - Winona
Kfc
Description
KFC's reputation is facing challenges at this particular location, with numerous patrons expressing disappointment in food quality and service. Diners have criticized the chicken for being overcooked and too heavily coated, while sides like mashed potatoes fell flat, lacking authenticity. Reports of running out of chicken early in the evening and unhygienic restrooms further tarnish the experience. Service also leaves much to be desired, with staff seemingly untrained and inattentive. However, there are glimmers of hope, as some have noted improvements in food quality and cleanliness, suggesting potential for revival if management focuses on addressing key issues.

The staff maintained a positive attitude despite working in a building under repair. The food was fresh and served hot.
We stopped going months ago due to poor mgmt and sub-par food quality. However, they seem to have turned it around. KFC quality, great tasting chicken. Short staffed but a great young lady at the counter. Clean but could use a little sprucingup.
This particular KFC location tarnishes the reputation of the brand. They attempted to sell me overcooked, dry chicken and seem to have forgotten the Special Recipe that sets KFC apart. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the food they served. It is clear that they need to improve their practices, as they do not even change the grease regularly. I hope someone can help steer them in the right direction.
I visited this restaurant on a Monday at 7:00 PM, and to my surprise, there were no other customers present. Upon entering, we were informed that they had already run out of chicken, despite being open until 10 PM. Additionally, the restrooms were not clean. Overall, I would recommend that this establishment consider shutting down for good.
I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes that management will take notice. First, they were out of dark meat chicken and biscuits, which was disappointing. When we asked for forks, they provided us with tiny plastic children's forks that were practically useless. The staff seemed completely unaware of how to properly serve customers; the person at the register simply shouted "huh" whenever we asked a question. It was clear that they had little regard for customer service. I ordered what I thought was Pepsi based on the label, but it turned out to be some kind of strange mixture—definitely not Pepsi. I really can't see how this place will survive much longer; I suspect the only reason they're still in business is because they're one of just a few fast food options in the area. To top it off, the women's restroom was out of order. I could go on, but I doubt it would make a difference.
