We really like their Taters. Chicken is nice the coating is okay. Chicken fingers are average. No honey dill sauce with my fingers. :( They didn't have any.I will be back again and place an order. The staff were friendly.Resturant is small as is this building. I been there about five times. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mary Brown's Famous Chicken & Taters:
We decided to try out Mary Brown chicken on advice from a coworker. We had a chicken sandwich with taters and chicken strips with taters. The sandwich was good and the potato wedges (taters) were very different from anything I'd had before. The coleslaw and macaroni salad were pretty plain, but they did have honey dill sauce for the chicken - must have if you're in Manitoba! View all feedback.

Heard the chicken was supposed to be "superb" so had to give it a try. Wife had the chicken finger meal and I had a chicken dinner, she said it was not bad but nothing special. I thought the chicken was tasty but that is about it, good food but nothing really to brag about. If you like chicken you will like this place.I will say the service was exceptional, great staff at the regent location.
We went to the Pembina location. The chicken was crispy and tasty on the outside but juicy and well cooked on the inside. We have been looking for a good chicken place since the downfall of KFC and we were not disappointed. We will go back and will recommend it. The Chicken was a good sized.

The big Mary is on special on Mondays and is the best fried chicken sandwich in town. It is moist and the spicy mayo variant hits the spot every time. At 3.99 (was 2.99 last year) it is worth the trip to the other side of the city. Poutine is great too (curds with taters) but gravy can easily be shared with another side order of fries if sharing with another person. The chicken pieces are a tad bit greasy at times but definitely way better than your local KFC by miles. Tip: eat in store fresh for the best texture and taste. Take out means the burger loses crispness and becomes soggy.
