What User doesn't like about Clementine:
Had heard so much about the braised bacon Benedict so when we were in the area we decided to finally try it. It was packed when we arrived but only waited about minutes for a table. Service was good and our order was taken...in a timely manner. About minutes later our food was delivered and after seeing many other Benedict’s be delivered with lots of hollandaise(the best part), mine didn’t have very much and was only... View all feedback.
Legit changed my mind about how I feel towards breakfast food.<br/ <br/ I have always been a dinner or lunch guy but Clementine’s dishes are simply above par from the usual.<br/ <br/ One of the few breakfast establishments in Canada that really prides itself in presentation and ingredients that I’ve been to.
Been coming here a couple times a month since January, and the consistency this restaurant has is amazing. The food, the service, the ambience, just everything has always been so welcoming and comforting. <br/ <br/ There has yet to be an item on the menu that I didn’t like or haven’t craved for the next day. This place is possibly my favourite in the city. I wish they took reservations, but waiting for a table is so worth the experience. <br/ <br/ Highly recommend the Burger Dip and Maple Braised Bacon.
Definitely one of the best spots in the city! Always hopping but worth the wait. <br/ <br/ Eggs Benedict has beautiful soft poached eggs and thick hunks of pork belly in beautiful Hollandaise sauce. <br/ <br/ Potatoes are crisp with well balanced citrus aioli. <br/ <br/ Belgian waffle is crisp with floral Earl Grey whip cream, peaches and pine nut crunch.
The reviews are totally right. This was the best brunch I've ever had. I didn't leave feeling too full, the staff were attentive, and accommodating. The wait was about 30 minutes, but that's to be expected. I was able to get eggs benedict without bacon which made my visit that much better. I will definitely be back!
This restaurant is located in a basement of a historical exchange building. The decor leverages many of the architectural nuances of the building and I think they did an excellent job with what they had to work with. That being said, it’s in a basement so there is restricted disability access. The low ceilings and hard surfaces in the restaurant means it is noisy when it’s busy.<br/ <br/ The wait staff are all young and full of energy. They all move quick on their feet and are attentive which help move a lot of people through the small restaurant.<br/ <br/ This place is famous for their breakfast and lunch menu. I’ve been here multiple times and am impressed with the food quality each and every time. Just make sure to expect a wait to be seated if you go. Eclectic places like this are busy and Clementine is well known amongst the dining crowd.
