Harvey's - Winnipeg

The staff at this restaurant are very stingy with condiments and toppings, only giving customers minimal amounts when they ask for extras. The airport location is different from other Harvey's in Canada and Winnipeg, as it is not operated by the same company. Additionally, the staff here do not wear gloves while handling food, which can result in customers getting a taste of whatever was on the cook's hands. The lack of hair nets also means that customers may find hair in their food. Overall, the dining experience at this establishment leaves much to be desired.

Occasionally, when I'm working, I get a craving for a fast food burger and Harvey's always satisfies that craving. Sometimes there's only one person working at the counter and grill, causing a backup, but the food is always fresh and served hot.

I always order the cheeseburger meal with fries and a diet coke. I've been disappointed over the past 6 months in the lack of freshness and consistency...unripe tomatoes, brown edged wilted lettuce and large sliced pickles that are falling apart (sounds weird, but true). However, tzatziki is now available as a topping, which I love, so I'm still going to Harvey's. Area around the restaurant is consistently dirty (so there is some consistency!). Servers are always very friendly, though stingy with the napkins--and you always need lots of napkins for a Harvey's Burger!

A decent experience at Harvey's. There aren't many options at the airport, with only Harvey's and Tim Hortons to choose from.
