We decided to go for a drive and try Folio for the first time. The first impression was outside which was great. Once inside, the modern cafe was quite inviting with an open concept. The cafe was bright & clean. The server was friendly, efficient & helpful in assisting us with our order. The food is good, but there is not much variety. For two cups (substantial sizes cups), a salad on toast, a cup of tea and a small reuben it was $27. So not super cheap. Pick up at the switch and clear your own table, so you need to tap for the service. The dining area is beautiful and bright, there is a whole wall of windows, but very open, so it is a bit loud. My husband and I are trying all the coffee shops in Winnipeg! Staff and environment pleasant and inviting! The coffee was great too, other than next time we would not get the added shot of espresso. Also abit on the pricey side.
Had an amazing coffee at Folio, plus, sout out to Taylor he is spectacular!
The coffee at Folio is a bit pricey for the size, but it's worth it because they serve Dogwood, which is the best. The service is decent, but not overly friendly. I wish the atmosphere was a bit more homey and welcoming.
The restaurant is situated in a beautiful location and serves absolutely delightful coffee! Although I don't typically find myself in the area, I have friends who attend school nearby and they frequently enjoy visiting this place. It is a perfect little cafe. Hugs and kisses.
