Leider nicht den Erwartungen gerecht geworden. Der Riesling-Hahn ist in der Sahnesoße ersoffen. Die Rumpsteaks waren ungenießbar zäh. Ware ist zurück gegangen. Ein Steak musste trotzdem bezahlt werden. View all feedback.
Just for lunch on Thursday without reservation, we came with our 3 years old and he could walk a little on the terrace. The wine list was great and inexpensive, I ordered the trout tar and a small salad and it was delicious. The children's menu had nice choices. The presentation of everything was top! I wished for a more attentive service, I felt like I had to grab the servers that seemed very hurried.
We thought this restaurant was a lunch break on our trip to Italy. The restaurant is located in a very quiet and charming alley near the river. Your friendly staff took care of all the time. Your “ Riesling Hahn mit Champignons” is something you try
Traditional German food with a beautiful twist. Very big portions. Good taste and beautiful dishes. Good service and beautiful outdoor seating. Many locals also go there. A little expensive, but not much about food quality.
The food is good. It looks a little old designed inside, but the quality of food is good! You have a wide selection of wines that are also beautiful.
..and every meal a delight. Charming service of delicious food in sensible portions and excellent value to boot. Dinner for two around €45. Chanterelle ragout, baked zander, neck of pork...carefully prepared by a chef who knows what's what. Well worth the 10 mile round trip each night from the Hotel Burgschanke where we are staying on the other side of the river.
