But food… Portions are huge but it felt like the dish was warmed up in the microwave, like supermarket fast food. For ~20-30 euros per dish I would expect something better.

We had made advance reservations as it had excellent reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. Given the size of our group, 11 kids vegetarians included, we pretty much went through the menu possibly the best food during the trip. Beer wine were also very good. Service was excellent very helpful staff given our limited understanding of German. We all felt that the food was great a great enjoyable evening

Looking at the plates of delicious food we realized we have to come back! A few days later we reserved a table for 4 and finally were able to try it out. The food was very good and tasty. Service was nice. My parents are very picky about food and they had a great time. Notes for improvement: there are way...way too many flies flying around in the outdoor seating area. Owner should do something about it.

My dinner did not come out until 10 minutes after my wife had finished hers. Worse yet the smoked pork was dry and cold. The potatoes were even colder. This despite the fact there were only two other people eating there. Now we know why.
