To the team behind the bar (Ben and Julia), the great kitchen crew with many thanks for the extremely tasty roast of the day. I didn't get to speak to the hotelier, but Peter did; a most hospitable and friendly lady. Thank you one and all.

Unfortunately for this visit, there was almost a hostility involved in targeting the placement of masks within the venue. Whilst playing pool, our table of 3 were targeted for inappropriate mask wearing whilst the table of 10 or more next to us avoided the restriction or the scrutiny of the security team. To top this off the security team has an apparent exemption to wearing of masks but were policing others in the venue. There were

A big thank you to the team behind the bar, Ben and Julia, as well as the large kitchen staff, for the exceptionally delicious roast of the day. Although I didn't get a chance to speak with the hotelier, Peter did, and he found her to be a warm and welcoming lady. Many thanks to everyone!
