We regularly come here for the weekend breakfast buffet. Great selection of breads, hams, cheeses, bacon, sausages, eggs, jams, cakes, croissants, cereals, juices, hot drinks and even prosecco for an all inclusive price of 14.95
We stayed at brenner hotel just a stones throw away, first day wasn't sure what this place was, but on secound day, popped my head in, fanstatic range of bakery items, loved the one with cherrys and custard on, coffe was good here too, in morning you can have breakfast here, and they do something that looks like mincemeat but they spread it on a roll and eat it, so 1 day i tried it....mmmmmm taste more like a meat pâté, very tasty, this is a great little bakery place where you can sit in, take away and even has a drive through, the language was an issue at times, as i know some german words but they dont know engllish, not there fault it there country, but we got by with my limited German words, would really like to know what other things was on menu, we came here each day on our stay in Germany even when we left we stocked up on a few bits, i am planning to return to Germany as my daughter dont live too far away, but next time i should know more words in German, but i would love to have this up near me instead of mcDonalds of KFC, the German bakeries onshine ours in uk, pop in even if its to see what they sell....happy eating.....
I walked into this bakery after a day in Bielefeld as a tourist, and after a long search for a place which wasn't either closing, having no more food available or having crazy expensive prices. Service was quick and kind, you find easily a spot to sit at the table and you can use blankets (essential and very appreciated considering the cold outside! And now, let's come to the good part: food! Pastries and cakes were absolutely tasty, not too fatty or dry, unlike most of those I have tried in Germany. Cappuccino and tea were fine too. So, I would give even more than 5 points to this relaxing place and I recommend it for a sweet bite!
Popular drop-in for tasty breakfasts, brunch, snacks, light lunches, afternoon pastries. Drive-in facility and easy parking. Eat-in or take away. Outside tables, too. Electronic pager system for ordered food/meals. Part of a chain of Bakery establishments around Bielefeld, I understand. There is an impressive bakery counter with good range of loaves and rolls, pastries, cakes, savoury snacks, pizzas, salads. Meals and snacks can be ordered for taking away or eating in. I had a brunchy snack of open sandwich with warmed ham/bacon and a couple of fried eggs on top...very tasty. Pizzas and salads all prepared after ordering and arrived fairly quickly. When leaving we bought a very large white loaf, rustic style with a good dark (almost black! crust. Very tasty and kept well for days. Very light inside. We also bought some wonderful pastries, the size and shape of large bananas, filled with a fabulous vanilla-flavoured cream. The pastry was light and delicious...and reminded me of those pastry horns available in the UK...but much lighter. Must go back for more...of it all. Could easily become my favourite 'snack-stop ' in Bielefeld. There is a web-site, for the company, that has a few photos of the drive in Polmeier....and explains about a money-less card system they run. I found that by running Bäckerei Pollmeier through a search engine. Not sure why I haven 't given it a 'five ' really. There was a small delay on part of our order, but I think that was due to a 'new ' member of staff under tutelage, and wasn 't much of a problem. Impressed, generally, and can 't wait to get back to those vanilla tubes!!

Delicious cakes and very good rolls and breads. Very good choice. Especially the cheese cake is recommended by me
Very nice and modern bakery... friendly and nice staff. There are meals and drinks from morning to evening. Cold and warm! Inside cozy places, outside it is a bit loud because of the directly adjacent Oldentruper street. There are even possibilities for children. At noon it is quite crowded because many employees of companies near eating lunch.
The staff also keeps the nerves and the coffee from the screening machine is really super delicious. The baked goods are innovative, for example variants without wheat. Very happy!!!
Pollmeier twog with drive in. the drive in this time is paid. easy and fast. otherwise also a good offer and very professional people there are behind tresen.
