The cheese fondue is d... read more This is a unique type of restaurant that is a nice addition to Tecumseh. We went as a group of 6 and tried almost everything on the menu. The cheese fondue is delicious with all the options for dipping, as was the chocolate fondue and the amazing Nutella pizza for dessert. the wood fired pizzas and shrimp dish are also very enjoyable not to mention all the variety of wines which can be ordered by the "flight" as well. We will definitely be going back. Make reserations as it is a tiny place.

The... read more The menu choices are limited. The food they offer is good though. There was three of us at dinner and we all had different choices and we all enjoyed them. The wine may have been a little higher priced than most, but it was good as well. We were offered a free taste of wine when we sat down and I thought that was a nice touch. There is, however, no beer on the menu and that is a deal breaker for some. The restaurant is cozy with nice decor.

The goat cheese salad had very little cheese and very little anything else that was stated on the menu. (Except greens). My wife had the mussels which were very salty. The pizza was excellent. I had a veggie with lots of good toppings. It can get very loud in there. All in all not bad...the bill was quite steep for what we had.

However, t... read more The evening started off well with live saxophone music and a nicely decorated atmosphere. The food, particularly the oven-made pizza, was quite good. However, the loud music made it difficult to hear conversations across the table as the night went on. The wine selection was great and the appetizers were tasty, but there was a mix-up with our order and our salads were forgotten. The club bass music by the end of the evening was overwhelming and left my head pounding. Despite these issues, the restaurant was reasonably priced and I would consider returning for the food, though the loud music would be a deterrent.

Unfortunately, the service we received was the worst I have ever experienced in the city. The host seemed cold and bothered by our timely arrival for our reservation. After checking the list multiple times, he finally seated us at a table for four. We ordered a couple of bottles of wine, three pizzas, and two appetizers. Before our food arrived, the waitress asked us to move to accommodate other guests. We complied and moved to a different table. However, our appetizers were served after the pizzas, and we were asked to move once again in the middle of our meal. The promised dessert never arrived, and the waitress did not check on us for 45 minutes. Despite the delicious food, the terrible service means we will not be returning to Wineology.
