Feedback
The food at this restaurant is always incredibly fresh, with the sounds and smells of cooking filling the air as you wait for your order. The restaurant is owned by a lovely couple, and the dining room is always spotlessly clean. While it may not look like the fanciest place, don't judge a book by its cover. Plus, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous.
The food was tasty, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very cozy. The combination dinner offered generous portions at affordable prices.
I recently dined at this restaurant with my family. We ordered five dishes, two of which were supposed to be hot and spicy. We were disappointed to find that they were not spicy when we tried them. The hot mustard we ordered turned out to be Heinz brand. The food seemed fresh, but the restaurant itself was pretty dirty. However, it was neat and clean, and had good parking. Overall, the restaurant is a good value if you're looking for bland food.
Good value for delicious Chinese sty;e cooking. Dinners for 2 are a good choice, they have more than one style. We're coming back from time to time.
We decided to try this little gem on the east end and by far, it's been a wonderful experience. The lady who owns it couldn't be friendlier, taking time to explain some of the Cantonese dishes and other questions I had for her. We had...fried rice, General Tso's Chicken and Honey Garlic chicken came with Wonton soup and overstuffed egg rolls. The portions were very generous! Food was so tasty! It took a little while for her to get everything prepared since she makes your orders from fresh. I'd rather wait for quality food than have it brought out in a few minutes and know that it's been prepared ahead of time. The one thing I noticed was that the batter is very light and crispy; not like you find in so many other restaurants which you get so much batter and very little meat. Of course, we had to box the leftovers but I proceeded to do a takeout order of Deluxe Lo Mein and Lemon Chicken for home. The flavours are so there! Unfortunately, we won't be able to return until April when they reopen for business again. Other Chinese restaurants, especially the ones with all you can eat always have too much batter on their meat such as chicken and pork when you have anything such as sweet and sour. This place doesn't. Being that it's a small restaurant, it is very clean. You can't beat the prices on their luncheon specials. The owner is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet. We can't wait to go back in April 2017.
