Got there 10 minutes before they closed but they served us anyway. Our server Jennifer was super nice and stayed the extra half hour to ensure our meal was good. Would definitely recommend this if you want amazing fish and chips.
The food was good, hot and the young lady who served us, was quite helpful and pleasant. The restaurant is a nice size, not too large and easy to find no the road
We both ordered a Haddock Dinner here and it was cooked so crispy and good. The flavours hit the spot just right, french fries were ok, not as crispy as I would have liked. The place was clean and the staff is friendly. Can't wait...to return to try something new
This is the Best Halibut Dinner you'll get anywhere- they use a light and crunchy batter- not greasy, you get mainly fish- not batter- and it's ALWAYS fresh, not fishy tasting. Fries or Baked Potato done to perfection as well. The staff is amazing- they...all work together to ensure you get served quickly, and completely- I can't say enough good things about the people who make everyone feel at home here.
CRAZY? ME? WHY? Because I leave my house at midnight, drive 800 plus miles north in 12 hours. Arrive in Windsor, Ontario Canada on West University Blvd for lunch 12 hours later. Eat lunch for two hours then drive home arriving after midnight? Nor crazy....Just a luster for the best fish on the planet. The serving of Halibut and Cod at Sir Cedric's is just that good. I've been enjoying their fare for 15 years and go there anytime I'm within 400 miles. Great food, wonderful staff. Place is old and outdated, decore is not pretty, ambiance and atmosphere are similar to a moonscape at non-exsistant. Each time I leave I wish I had gotten just one more piece of fish.
